About

Wren Warne-Jacobsen began skating when she was 5 years old at the Bemidji Figure Skating Club and she started competing at age 7. She moved to the Minneapolis-St. Paul area when she was 10 to pursue full time training.

 

She is an 9-time Minnesota State Champion, a 3-time Upper Great Lakes Regional Champion, 6-time Regional Medalist, Midwestern Sectional Champion and a 2-time Sectional Medalist. Wren is a 4-time U.S. Figure Skating Championships competitor finishing 7th in 2016 as an Intermediate, 3rd in the Junior Ladies Freeskate and 5th in the country overall in 2019, and In 2022 she qualified for and made her senior debut at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Nashville, TN. Wren is the 2023 U.S. Collegiate Championships Senior Women's Champion and in January 2023 she competed for the United States at the 2023 FISU World University Games in Lake Placid, NY.

Wren graduated high school in 2022 and was Salutatorian of her class at Minnesota Virtual Academy. She is a junior at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in the Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communications.


Her other interests include being outdoors, reading fantasy novels, spending time with her family and friends and her cats Cole and Schulyer.
